A one x one with Orrick and Velma!
No defined plot. It's going to be a go-with-the-flow type of deal here.

Orrick mumbled something to himself as he opened up his closet. He rubbed his eyes, still somewhat weary from sleep, and thumbed through his wardrobe. He stopped, eyes shining, on the light purple dress shirt that he loved so much. Undoubtedly, this was his favorite shirt. At least, it was his favorite dress shirt. The plumerian quickly thumbed to the back of his closet, and he snatched up a hanger with a white vest and suit jacket on it. Orrick rubbed his eyes again and walked over to the tall dresser across the room. He opened the third drawer and pulled out a pair of white slacks. Then he opened the top drawer and grabbed a pair of white dress socks. In no particular rush, he pulled on the pants and buttoned up his shirt.
'Tie, tie, tie..' he thought, bouncing towards his closet on one foot as he slipped a white sock over his right foot. He parted the shirts and jacket to reveal a tie hanger behind them, and plucked a few ties from the hanger. Orrick went to his full body mirror across from his bed and tied the first tie, a white one. He inspected his reflection for a few brief moments before untying the tie and throwing it onto his bed. Next, the tall plumerian tied a black tie and inspected his reflection, for an even more brief amount of time, before untying it and throwing it onto his bed. The last tie, a white and yellow striped tie, was up. Orrick stood in front of the mirror for quite some time, making faces and poses. With a bit of a growl, he untied it and threw it onto his bed. Giving up on a tie, he simply put his black dress shoes on and left his room.
His roommate was no where to be seen, not that Orrick really looked much. He crossed the kitchen and opened the fridge, slumping down to inspect a few containers of leftovers, but found nothing of interest. Instead, he poured his coffee into a thermos and headed out the door. Quickly, he jumped into his car and turned the key in the ignition.
[small time skip because who wants to hear about a forty-five minute drive from his home in the country to his shop in the city]
The plumerian grabbed his coffee cup from the cup holder and left his car. He walked up to the front of a store, and turned the key in the lock and opened the door to his oddities shop. Immediately, he was greeted by a large elephant skeleton. His night guard had moved the large, half-articulated skeleton from the back of the shop to the front, the very front- right in front of the entrance to the shop. He gave the skeleton a little push, expecting the wheels to easily move it out of the way. However, it wasn't going to be that easy. The night guard had locked the back wheels on the mobile pedestal, so as to insure it wouldn't be moved. He got down to his knees and tried to reach the back wheels, but to no avail. Orrick took a deep breath and let out a long sigh before beginning to climb over the skeleton. As he was trying to make his way passed the object, he realized how very silly he must look to passerbys. After all, he was scrambling over a elephant skeleton, and he was undoubtedly in some very strange positions. "Arrrg. He's going to pay for this, I swear," Orrick grumbled to himself, still trying to scramble over the skeleton.
At last, he made it to the other side of the skeleton, with a rather loud thump. He glared at the front desk as he lay flat on his stomach, a bit winded from his fall. Orrick stood up, brushed himself off with a realization that white was not a good idea today, and turned to face the elephant skeleton. Shaking his head, the plumerian bent down and unlocked the back wheels of the pedestal the skeleton was on. He then began to push the skeleton and passed the curtain that separated the back from the front. Orrick walked back to the front desk and sat down. He unlocked one of the drawers in the desk and pulled out a stack of papers. Slowly, he began to fill out some paperwork.
(Sorry for the long beginning. Also, I totally stole the opening post from my roleplay with Viveka since it's a good starter imo, and several things could happen from here. I'll probably use it to start off most of the roleplays tbh. cx)
